The Community Agenda for America’s Public Schools, developed by the Coalition for Community Schools, is an action plan with solutions. It calls for community leaders, institutions and citizens to mobilize their collective resources to support student learning and development.

Let Congress know that we need community schools.

Congress needs to know that community schools are proven to help America’s students succeed. The President and the Congress should designate a commission that includes key Cabinet secretaries and other leaders to define specific legislative and programmatic recommendations and move forward to action. America needs policies that provide incentives for partnerships, local decision making and community mobilization.

Tell President- Elect Obama and Vice-President elect BIden that we need community schools NOW! 

Our children, our families, our teachers and our neighborhoods need community schools.
